The Ministerial Conference on Women’s Role in the Development of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation, (OIC) Member States held its 4th session in Jakarta, 4 December 2012. The OIC Secretary General Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu was received by His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Perutan of Brunei Darussalam Haji Hassanal Bolkiah at his palace today on December 1 2012. Ihsanoglu is on a two-day long official visit to the country. During the discussion the Sultan reiterated his commitment and support to the OIC as well as to the causes of the Muslim Ummah. OIC Secretary General on his part briefed the Sultan on the activities of the Organization.
