The 33^rd Session of the OIC Ministerial Meeting Concludes

The proceedings of the 33^rd Session of the Islamic Conference of Foreign Ministers concluded on Wednesday 21 June 2006 in Baku, Azerbaijan. The Conference was chaired by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan H. E. Dr. Elmar Mammadyarov in the presence of the Secretary General of the Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC) Professor Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the OIC Secretary General held a Press Conference in a Media Centre in Baku city. They had the opportunity to outline the outcomes of the 33^rd Session which was one of the most successful Sessions, according to them.

The items of the Conference’s agenda were adopted during the final session of the Ministerial Meeting. The session also adopted Baku Declaration and the Conference’s Final Communiqué.
